Make hay while the sun shines

Or use it, at least.  We don't make our own hay here, but luckily it is easy to procure. In a few more weeks, the trees down the hill will be a brilliant yellow-orange. Here in Tennessee, this is what mid-October looks like. 

It's getting chilly and maybe frosty, but the tomatoes are still producing and the kids are loving the beginnings of fall! You can see from the attire that Halloween is much-anticipated this year. Tucker plans to make a vampire pumpkin and dress as Spongebob and Maya wants princess everything (though she is not fussy about the particulars).
